February Gathering with Guest Speaker Amy Whorf McGuiggan

Amy writes a monthly column for a Cape Cod newspaper about the Outer Cape's historic cemeteries. She will discuss how she expands the notion of genealogical sources to tell the fuller story "between the dates."

Amy is the author of numerous books, most recently Finding Emma: My Search for the Family My Grandfather Never Knew, for which she uncovered the never told story of her grandfather's childhood and his family using a number of unconventional sources. In addition to her monthly newspaper column, Amy contributes to Vita Brevis, the blog of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, and the newsletter of the Mayflower Society.
