Good Morning Everyone,
As most of you know, PCGI voted in June to decide the organization's future. We were surprised by how many of you voted to keep PCGI as it is but scaled back on the frequency of gatherings and paid speakers. With that being said, it's time to act.
PCGI needs Board members. We need individuals who will breathe new life into the organization. The time commitment is minimal, perhaps no more than 6 hours monthly. The organization needs members to step up and help guide it forward into the next year and beyond.
We are currently entertaining nominations for all positions for an October election. There are 4 Officer positions - President, Vice President, Clerk, Treasurer, and up to 12 Directors of the Board.
Currently, there is one nominee each for President, Vice President, Clerk, and Treasurer. It's not a true election when there is no competition; we need more people who are interested in helping build and revitalize the organization. Please join and volunteer to be part of the governing body of PCGI.
Our monthly Board meetings are held on the 4th Friday of the month at 7 PM via Zoom. Gatherings, where we offer speakers or workshops, are held, usually on the first Saturday of each month, at the East Bridgewater Public Library from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
New ideas and volunteers will bring much-needed progress for this group to grow and prosper. You will be surprised at how fulfilling it is to help a nonprofit thrive.
