Hello everyone,
The Board of Directors has decided not to host a gathering on the first Saturday of June. Instead, we invite you to an in-person meeting at the E. Bridgewater Public Library on June 25 at 11:30 am. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the future of the organization. With membership stagnant, no incoming donations, and a lack of board officers, we can't afford to continue offering monthly lectures; some of our past speakers have cost PCGI upwards of $300 or more.
When PCGI started 30-plus years ago, you did most genealogical research at libraries, historical societies, town halls, and churches. Now, most of those records are found online, making the purpose of this organization obsolete.
We need the membership's input on how we should move forward. Your attendance is crucial to PCGI's future.
