About the event
Guest speaker, Michael Brophy, will talk about the central event in the history of Irish genealogy, the destruction of the Public Records Office in Dublin on June 30, 1922 near the end of the Irish Civil War.Â
Learn how to access existing vital records and census records, as well as other research materials, online and through film rental without the time and expense necessary to travel to Ireland.
This event is free for members but donations are always appreciated. Non-members will be required a $5 entrance fee at the library before the lecture or purchase a ticket on the website.
